About Brenda O'Quin

Brenda O'Quin My art inspiration started when I was very young and had gotten a copy of a scrapbook of drawings my mom had made as a child. I was so inspired by her talent, even at such a young age, that I wanted to try it myself. That little inspiration changed my entire life and I've been involved with art ever since. It's hard to put into words how much genuine joy it brings me.

I begin an abstract piece with colors in mind but without any predetermined ideas of what the finished work is going to look like. I love the idea of each painting being an intuitively driven experience. My acrylic paintings are made with a lot of colors and textures in the hopes of creating a happy, inspired feeling for the observer.
